Little Dukes has independent nurseries in London, Richmond upon Thames, Brighton & Hove and Worthing.If you are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives, we would love to hear from you.Job Title: Room LeaderThis role would suit anybody that has experience as an Early Years Teacher, Senior Nursery Educator, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Apprentice Educator, Nursery Educator or Nursery Assistant.*Qualifications:* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification) Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting Knowledge of child development theories and practices Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.G., Safeguarding)Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive work environment with a friendly team Company Pension schemeDuties: Responsible for the daily running of a section of the Nursery, including the care and wellbeing of the children and the delivery of an effective curriculum Supervising and support the daily setting up of the rooms and outside, to provide safety, and an effective learning environment for all the children. To work with the Manager(s) to ensure that staff ratios are maintained and there is effective staff deployment, supervision, mentoring and recognition of training needs for all staff and apprentices.
